How to Winterize Your Spa

Spa Interior:

1. Disconnect power to spa at Breaker.
2. Drain spa completely through hose bib.
3. Use Wet/Dry Vac to Vacuum remaining water (Footwell, Jets, Suctions and Filter outlets)
4. Reverse Vacuum and Blow out each line.
5. Vacuum any remaining water.

Pump Area:

1. Remove front panel and any other panel necessary to access pumps.
2. Loosen all unions, remove drain plugs and vacuum out all water (For Circulation pump remove clamps and pull hoses off)
3. Pour 3 cups Pipe-Line Anti-Freeze in Wet-End of pumps (2 Cups for Circulation pump)
4. Re-Attach unions but do not tighten

• Pour 1/2 gallon of Pipe-Line Anti-Freeze into filter well to help prevent freeze cracks in pipes as well.
• Re-Attach front panel
• Put cover back onto spa and lock into place.

Shrink wrap around the cover will add protection from water getting into the tub but is not necessary.
