The Coverlon cover has a double webbing on both sides of the cover making the cover super strong and safe. The webbing is especially fabricated to have a tensile strength of approximately 4000 pounds per square inch.

Not all cover fabrics are alike. Most fabrics on the market have a thread count of 34 x 22 per square inch. We use a fabric thread count of 34 x 22 per square inch.

The cover is locked down by our unique extra heavy duty spring and anchor system. Installed properly, children or pets cannot fall or slip into the pool or between the pool deck and the cover. Our Spring is twice as string as our competitor's. It has a specially designed bend at each end. This ensures that there will be no gaps between the pool and the decking, Keeping wind from blowing under the cover. The spring comes with a plastic cover to protect the pool deck from abraison.

 

 

THE COVERLON COVER

The Coverlon Cover was the first safety cover to feature double webbing. This means the webbing is stiched on both the top and under sides of the cover greatly increasing its strength. The webbing is sewn on with triple bonded threads and all perimeter intersections have a cross and box stitch for extra strength. Our "trampoline style" cover is locked down by our unique spring and anchor system. The Coverlon Cover is also tamper proof; requiring a special installation tool to remove or install the cover. All in all, the purchase of a safety cover will enhance the saftey of your pool area while the cover is in use.

Free form designers, rock formations, waterfalls and raised walls are handeld with ease. In order to further insure the intergrity of the cover, it is also cut by a computer.
RESIDENTIAL POOL COVERS

MESH COVER

Our beautiful mesh cover is fabricated with a unique blend of lightweight, supple polypropylene that sways dry and does not crack with age. Rain will not collect on the surface and will just drain through, while leaves and debris just dry and blow away. Wonderfully convenient, there are no waterbags or pumping necessary. Off-season maintanence is virtually eliminated. We use a 3 or 5 foot panel spacing depending on the engineering for a particular cover size and design application.

SOLID COVER

Our solid covers are installed with a heavy duty spring and anchor system similar to the mesh. The cover is made from two layers of vinyl with a polyester scrim sandwiched in between for extra strength. With proper water treatment and chemicals, imagine opening your pool to crystal clear water in the spring. We recommend that solid covers be made with 3 foot by 3 foot panels, however we will make the cover in 5 foot by 5 foot panels if requested.

THE COVERLON Q&A

Q:    What kind of security does the Coverlon Cover offer us?

A:    The Coverlon Cover uses a ‘Trampoline style’ cover.  It is held down with springs and anchors that are drilled into the deck.  If it is installed properly, (ensuring there are no gaps between the pool and the ground) children and pets cannot fall or slip into the pool.

Q:    Can’t they just unlatch the cover?

A:    Our covers are tamper proof, and are unable to be removed without the special installation tool that comes with the cover.

Q:    What makes the Coverlon a better product?

A:    The Coverlon Cover was one of the first covers that placed webbing on the full length and width of both sides of the cover for ultimate strength.  Most competitors still stop just TWO feet past the border on the underside of the cover.  This causes the cover to give way to sagging and the elements..

Q:    My pool is an unusual shape, with a diving board and fountain, is that a problem?

A:    Free form designs, rock formations, waterfalls, and raised walls are not a problem.  Our covers are computer designed and uses advanced manufacturing techniques assuring you of a properly designed cover that fits perfectly every time.

Q:    What about all of the debris that gathers on the cover over the year?  Leaves, rainwater, snow;  won’t the weight from those warp the cover?

A:    If you are using one of Coverlon’s mesh covers, which is fabricated with a unique blend of light weight, supple polypropylene that stays dry and doesn’t crack with age, then no it will not.  This is known as our ‘Mesh’ cover, rain does not collect on the surface, but drains through, and into the pool, while leaves and other debris will just dry and blow away.  No pumping or waterbags necessary.

Q:    The water will get cloudy by the spring.  What can I do to stop that?

A:    With continued chemical treatment to the water through the winter, you should be just fine, but in case you want a little less to worry about, maybe you should try our solid cover, made from laminated vinyl.  A polyester scrim, sandwiched between two layers of vinyl, sewn together with heavy duty webbing on both sides using bonded threads, making a super strong cover!  With a minimal amount of winter work, when you take off the cover next spring, the water is STILL CRYSTAL CLEAR!

Q:    Where do put my cover when I’m done with it for the year?

A:    All of our covers come with their own storage bag, for convenient packing and unpacking whenever you need it.

Q:    I already have an existing safety cover on my pool, and I would like to replace it with a new one?

A:    We have no problem matching your cover's straps to a previous installation as to reduce the damage done to your deck through excessive drilling.
